What Causes Bulging Of Abdomen When Excessive Alcohol Is Taken?

Hello, i m a bit worried for my brother in law. i exactly don't know the disease but i have heared from my inlaws that he is suffering frm stomach buldging due to excessive alcohol consumpsion. doctors drained water too from his stomach sevsral times and now they r saying if one more time water has been drained then it will be dangerous. so he need a surgery to be done. so can u please tell me what kindof illness is this n what can be done?

I do not understand what surgery would be done (except a liver transplant). But, the fluid is from the liver being severely injured by the drinking and the fluid backing up behind the liver and accumulating in the abdomen. This is quite a serious condition.
First, stopping drinking
then, good nutrition with protein and vitamins
then... very likely to need liver transplant.
