What Causes Bulging Of Vein Between Upper Thigh And Leg?

i had a vein in my upper thigh running down my leg that was bulging . i felt it swelling and i had a swelling the size of a golf ball about 3 inches above the back of my knee . the next day i had a bruse 5 inches round .Should i worry it still aches?

It appears that you are having varicose veins over the lower limb.The swelling behind and above the knee may be due to incompetent perforator.The bruise may be extravasation of blood.Though not serious but you must consult your doctor.
