What Causes Bulging Of Veins In Upper Biceps?

hi, my name is dana wilson. i need to know about a left side buldging viens around the upper bicept with pains.this started about a couple of months ago. had a mild heart attack about 2 years ago. need i be concerned? pain is pretty much there all the time and is staying from elbow upto upper bicept. the vien protrudes out like a vericose vien with pain on my left side. please advise me on this, do i need to be concerned and go to my heart dr.? thank you, dana wilson

Hi, Is there any swelling in the arm or forearm?
If yes, then it could be Deep vein thrombosis leading to venous swellings.
You can see your GP and get a Venous Doppler done for your Left upper limb.
This will clarify whether there is any vein problem with the limb.
Do not worry, it is a minor problem and can be easily treated with prompt investigations and timely starting treatment.
