What Causes Bulging Veins In Temple?

I have had a migraine for 3 days, and it subsided yesterday. I am a 58 year old healty female. This morning I had a burning sensation in my left temple area with veins slightly more protruding or noticeable in same location. There is no weakness or feeling sick otherwise. Is this something to be concerned with?
