What Causes Bump On Head After An Injury?

I banged my head of an electrical box very hard about 7 till 8 months ago, I never went to the doctors it was bleeding but I cleaned it up and put an ice pack on my head to being the swelling down but the bump i can still feel the bump on my head is this something to be worried about?

The bump on the head following injury can be of inflammatory origin. Usually it subsides in few days. Since you are telling 7-8 months, consult a general physician and get a radiograph done to confirm the diagnosis.
