Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Bump On Inside Of Vagina And Burning Sensation While Urinating?
I feel like I have a yeast infection and I have used the cream u insert and on the outside and it is still here but it only bothers me mostly when I wake up and start moving around and go pee. I feel a burning sensation when I go pee - also mostly when I wake up and then I put cream on and then after an hour or 2 it goes away. I feel a bump right on the inside of my vagina that I am sure was not there before. I also feel like I could almost have a urine infection as well (at the same time) I am going to the walk in clinic tomorrow if it does not go away but I thought I would ask you what it could be. Its driving me crazy.
Your symptoms could be due to vaginitis, UTI but the bump that you are describing on the right side of your vagina points in the direction of diagnosis of Bartholin gland cyst. It is the gland that lubricates your vagina and it is not uncommon to develop a cyst in it that presents with symptoms that you just described. Although it would be difficult to be 100% sure without doing a physical examination.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
