Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a bump on the underside of my penis that appeared right after visiting my girlfriend and haveing sex for the first time ever. Im not sure if it is an std or a ingrown hair, shes only been with one other guy. I did shave down there right before i went to see her. Ive messed with it and it has made it bigger, ive also pulled out a lot of the root of the hair folicol that it is surrounding. It now looks similar to a wart, i dont know if thats just because ive been messing with it or if thats what it is. Ive had it for 3 months and its only gotten bigger, it seems to go down when i pull out the white hair folicol/root but it keeps coming back and i have to open the skin to get to the root, so ive been doing minor surgery on myself, which probably isnt good.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted your history of shaving the area, fiddling with it, visiting and having sex with a girlfriend who was already with someone else- all these things make it complicated and I think you should consult a Dermatologist for a proper diagnosis. Then only a proper treatment is possible. The diagnosis is by visual impression the Doctor gets on inspection hence the need to visit the Dermatologist. Stop applying anything locally till you visit one. Stop fiddling with it. Ask your girlfriend too to get an opinion and check up by the Gynecologist. And get diagnosed and treated accordingly.
