What Causes Bumps In The Mouth Under The Tongue?

Hi I have some bumps in my mouth under my tongue and on the side some little lumps. They don t really hurt just sometimes but I am worried coz I also feel nauseated and my breath stinks sometimes. I get frequent head aches. Do you know what I might have? Please help so I can let me doctor know when I visit her tomorrow. I might have HPV but does that mean I have oral cancer? How can I know? I always feel nauseated.

Hello,

These bumps could be HPV, but this does not mean that you have cancer. Consulting with your doctor for a physical exam is necessary. A fibrogastroscopy may be needed too, in order to investigate for possible acid reflux or gastritis.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
