Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Clitoris I m not really sure what these bumps are on my clitoris. But I do know I have a yeast infection it started then my period can like a day or two later and now I saw this. Even though I will be making an appt with my obgyn. But I m nervous they are herpes. Besides them being there they don t hurt or sensitive to touch but they are nerve racking.
Hello! Thank you for asking on HCM! Regarding your concern, I would explain that it doesn't seem to be herpes. Nevertheless, a papillomavirus, or any other infections including yeast, even a local reaction, may be a possibility. It is necessary to perform that physical examination by your gynecologist for a comprehensive differential diagnosis. Possible additional tests will be necessary. Meanwhile, try to protect your sexual partner, if he hasn't already the same signs. Avoid sexual intercourse till the diagnosis is clarified. A concomitant therapy should be started for your partner too.
Hope to have been helpful! Greetings! Dr. Iliri
