What Causes Bumps On The Scalp After Exposure To Sun?

ive got bumps on my scalp 1 day after being at the beach & in the sun all day . is this normal. its very itchy & seems like im getting more of them . the only thing i can think of is that its sun related or some bugs from sleeping in a questionable bed . any thoughts ? i am a 48 yr old male w/ hair .
