What Causes Bumps Under The Armpit?

Hello! I noticed about a month ago three little bumps under my right armpit, they were a little tender. I didn t pay much attention because they looked like big pimples, but about a week ago my right breast seems pukered (specially when I raise my arm). It feels like a cord pulling my sking inward but I have no pain there, like I said just some tenderness in my right armpit. What could it be? *I am 32 and my aunt (my dad s sister) died from brest cancer around 45, also my cousin (dad s niece) died of breast cancer at 33. I went to have my yearly exam over a year ago and everything was ok.

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

It is necessary consulting with your attending physician as soon as possible for a physical exam, a breast ultrasound and a mammogram. A year since your last test is too long, considering your family history.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
