This is a skin questions. My scalp is covered in cysts under my hair, or if they aren t cysts they are weird bumps under the skin, some are tender others are not. My back, the back of my legs, my chest and a couple of spots on my elbows and my side are covered in what I thought was acne but it hasn t responded to any of my regular acne meds, not even a dent. Mostly they don t itch, except for the few that have scabbed (because I tried to pop them) and a few are tender raised on hair folicles but mostly they re just unsightly. It s been over a week now, with no improvement. I know my immune system is currently compromised because I have a mouth full of cold sores all of sudden which I only get when I m already sick. (I m on acyclovir for it) I tried taking benadryl last night and that doesn t seem to have affected anything as of yet. Nothing seems life threatening but I m really worried that it s been over a week without change. Any thoughts on what this could be? Can it wait two weeks for my next doc appointment?
