What Causes Burning And Frequent Urination While On Duodart?

I have prostrate enlargement and must urinate more frequently, my urologist put me in a tablet daly called duodart at present I feel a burning when urinating . I have an appointment with Dr Hanegbe next month .Do you think there is anything serious wrong .Last year my blood tests were all ok ! Regards Gunter Heil.

The burning may be due to the prostatic disease itself but may also indicate a urinary tract infection.

This would need to be ruled out by a urine test at your doctor's office. Urine may also need to be sent to the lab for further analysis to identify the specific bacteria

If an infection is detected then antibiotics would be needed along with using a lot of fluids.
