What Causes Burning And Itching Around The Anus Along With Stringy Stools?

For several weeks I have been using hemorrhoid creams thinking I could have them..I finally asked my husband to take a look and he called the Dr the next morning and now I am scheduled for a colostomy shortly. My rectal is closing and barely getting a little more than the size of a string with my stools..I am swollen, burning and itching..Not sleeping and scared out of my mind..What do you think my problem is please...

It can be due to some fungal infection for which you can take antibiotics like cefadroxyl or zifi-cv after an expert opinion along with cetrizine or Avil itching or rashes. Apply clonet lotion or clo-trimazole cream locally over the affected area. You can take steroids if not improved with above treatment.
