What Causes Burning And Itchy Hand While Taking Amoxicillin?

I recently have been taking amoxicillan and half way into the 10 day dose I got really sick. It started with my lips and the palms of my hands becoming very agitated, burning and itchy. Then I became very ill to my stomach and became very disoriented while I was sick to my stomach and I was becoming near blacking out. next thing I knew my body was very pink all over and itchy from head to toe. Not a typical skin rash as I just turned pink all over no bumps but i itched everywhere. Have not been able to find answers to it so far online any ideas?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain all the symptoms that you are experiencing that are of itchy and burning lips along with stomach upset, itching throughout the body and disorientation, blackening out and pink skin all over are indicating towards hypersenstivity or allergic reaction to the antibiotic Amoxicillin...
I would suggest you to stop taking amoxicillin and take anti allergics like levocetrizine or Allegra..
Apply Calamine lotion over the skin,,
You can consult your treating physician and get evaluated and he can change the antibiotic with other groups of antibiotics that will prevent occurrence of allergic reaction and also resolve the infection..
Also drink plenty of water to faster wean off the antibiotic from the body..
