What Causes Burning And Pain Behind Eyes Along With Headache?
I had allergies which led to a sinus infection, not medically treated, then it seemed to be better. After a day or two it started burning and having pain behind my eyes. Actually waking me up at night with the pain and headache. My nose is continually clogged, nohing blows out when blowing. A lot of mucus drainage at night.
hello.. thanks for posting in HCM. I have gone through the query and understand your concern. you seem to be suffering with sinusitis - inflammation and infection of sinuses. this is the reason for your headache and blocked nose. Steam inhalation helps in reducing the congestion and swelling of nasal passages. Nasal irrigation with salt water clear the excess mucus. These are temporary home remedies. I would also suggest antibiotics like Amoxicillin (if you are not allergic to penicillin) 500mg with anti-inflammatory Ibuprofen/ paracetomol and decongestant Afrin for two weeks. hope my answer helped. feel free to write back.
