What Causes Burning And Stinging Sensation In Toes And Feet?
I m experiencing what feels like a burning (like after being very cold and then warming up), stinging sensations mostly in my toes, but recently progressing to my feet in general. My primary care doctor suggested arch supports, but I just don t feel like that s the issue. The sensations are worst in the evenings when I m sitting or while in bed. I d like to see a specialist but don t know what type of Doctor to see. Can you help?
Hello, A burning sensation in your feet may be caused by nerve damage in the legs, also called neuropathy. Although many medical conditions can cause burning feet, diabetes is the most common. Most burning feet treatments focus on preventing further nerve damage and reducing pain. Consult a NEUROLOGIST as soon as possible.
