The vaginal discharge of brown color with penile head burning for the partner are all indicative of cervical or vaginal infection through some sort of bacteria or fungi. Guidelines for better recovery: - Drink plenty of liquids - Take extra care of vaginal hygiene - Avoid prolong use of same tampons - Avoid intercourse till recovery - Cranberry sachet or urinary alkaliser such as potassium citrate - More intake of citrus containing fruits and chew-able tablets of vitamin C - Prescription of antibiotic such as Clindamycin with Metronidazole for both partners - Discuss the need of any swab report for the cervical discharge with your OBGYN.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
