What Causes Burning Hunger Pain, Bloating And Swelling Around The Navel?
Hi The other day I woke up to burning hunger pain. It lasted the whole day even after I ate. Feels like an intense hunger pain. Then the next day I woke up and I look and feel bloated and looks to have a swelling on the right upper side of my navel. Went to er and they didn t find anything and gave me no good answers. Please help!
Pain with swelling around the navel is indicative of appendicitis. Other medical conditions associated with similar symptoms are umbilical hernia, IBS, gastrointestinal disease, liver issues or gall stones. You are suggested to get clinically examined, get blood & diagnostic tests, imaging tests done to detect the factor causing discomfort, you will be treated accordingly. In the meantime avoid addictions if any, do not take junk, frozen or packaged food. You can take antacids & PPI's for temporary relieve.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
