What Causes Burning Knee Pain After Sitting In A Cross-legged Position?

Sir I was reading a book sitting in cross-legged position for 2 hours. When I tried to wakeup after that I had intense pain behind left knee. It lasted for couple of hours and then subsided fully. Next day, I suddenly developed mild tingling in my left arm, trunk, legs, head (everywhere on left side). It was so mild that I almost ignored it and did not go to doctor or tell anyone about it. One month later, I get pain and slight burning sensation (felt more when I am stressed and concentrate on it). When I am doing any work with interest I do not feel this pain or tingling. I am 25yers old with no other medical problems. Is this some type of stroke? Should I see a doctor? What will be impact on my future. I am able to be normal in all my work/behaviour that nobody is able to notice any changes in me.

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hi,

It might be a mild form of stroke that is TIA, you should consult a neurologist and if he asks you to get a CT Scan done. Get it done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Sapna Mewada, Ophthalmologist
