What Causes Burning Nose And Throwing Up White Foamy Liquid In A Child?
My six-year-old son for the last couple hours has been throwing up clear liquid and some white foam he has no other symptoms other than a burning in his nose and he throws up. I thought maybe he was catching something because our one-year-old woke up this morning throwing up the same way however after she ate she hasn t thrown up but when my six-year-old has even a sip of water he throws it up .

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Does your six year old have tummy aches? Is it just the clear liquid and white foam that he's throwing up and how many times in a day has this happened?
Does he have loose stools too? If its alright by now, keep him hydrated (sometimes the material that throws up gets into their nose and thats why the nose burning).
Keep him hydrated with electral or just plain water and give him soft diet. I would advise you to wait and watch. If things persist into night and he is restless, take him to the paediatrician.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Stany BC
