What Causes Burning Pain In My Chest?

I have a burning pain in my chest, at the crease of my left armpit and breast (this area is tender to the touch), shoulder and neck. I experience more pain when drinking cold liquids. I am a 43 yr female non-smoker, non-drinker. My 65 year mother just had quindrupal bypass surgery.

Hi. I can understand your concern.
If the chest pain is disturbing your routine activity then get a chest x ray done to rule out any lung infection. You will also require a detailed evaluation to look for any local cause like any lump or skin lesions. Better to consult a doctor at the earliest.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
