General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The burning nipples after getting in water in swimming pool is often shown as a reaction to chlorine in swimming pool. If you keep your clothes on, the chlorine will stay more on clothes and your body including nipples will be more exposed. So, I think you should stop swimming for some days until improvement. Have frequent baths with hypo-allergic shampoo. Apply calamine lotion on the itchy skin. If still no improvement, then should see your doctor for further evaluation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
