Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
yesterday morning, after being up for an hour or so, I started having a burning pain in the inside of my right ring finger first knuckle. During the day yesterday and continuing until now, several very small blisters have appeared at that spot. They burn when touched. What should I do? I am a 60 year old woman. I have not been working in the yard - like to have contacted poison ivy or anything. I have been helping to clean out an old basement for the past couple of weeks. May be some sort of bite?
From the given description, the burning pain and the blisters seems to be due to some insect bite. You can wash the area with some mild soap and use some salt water over there. If symptoms persist, do consult a doctor nearby.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. K. V. Anand, Psychologist
