What Causes Burning Sensation After A Bowel Movement?
My bowel movements have changed in the last 4-5 months. Have had a history of constipation and having to take stool softeners occasionally. Currently, I go from 2-3 days between going. Very soft stools and sometimes loose, sometimes a burning sensation after . I have been taking nexium off and on for about a year. Have a history of heartburn. Thank you.
Some advice that I can give you is: - Take probiotics - Avoid spicy foods, fruits, alcohol, and caffeine - Avoid chewing gum that contains sorbitol - Avoid milk for 3 days after symptoms disappear - You can eat cheese or yogurt with probiotics
