What Causes Burning Sensation Along With Tenderness In Upper Abdomen?
I have had severe burning in my upper abdominal area travels to lower abdominal area been on carafate 4xs a day had egd done but it showed very little gastritis a polyp in my gallbladder so I m on gavascon now to but I ve been in bed for a week now and only able to eat very little crackers and water but the burning is awful and upper abdominal area is very tender my insides are sore from it being so long.

I think the burning sensation may be related to gastritis. Using Gaviscon can help but not much because you may need to use Omeprazole. Do also a helicobacter pylori test.
