General & Family Physician 's  Response
Welcome to hcm,
I would like to know where is his burning sensation.
For his back pain if I were his treating physician before recommending tablets I will surely examine the site of the pain. Lumar., thorasic or sacral spine pain.
The next thing is I will definitely take an Xray ls spine to know the reason behind the pain in the spine
Some patients may even need CT or MRI scan.
Simply prescribing nsaids for pain will not guide you to know about the diagnosis .
Without knowing proper diagnosis there will not be proper treatment. Hope this explains.
Kindly review with these investigations
With regards
Dr.Amarnath.
