What Causes Burning Sensation And Inflammation On The Face?
One side of my face gets very hot and red.. It doesn't seem to be linked with anything. Sometimes it feels hot but isn't particularly red. No rash. It comes and goes. I can wake up with it! What could this be? It's very uncomfortable and annoying! Thank you for any help here!
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of burning sensation and inflammation on the face which seems to be nerve inflammation/impingement supplying facial area. It could be allergic reaction and viral infection.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to wash area with plain water and apply ice pressure on it. Visit oral physician/ dermatologist once and get it examined to find out exact cause of inflammation and start treatment accordingly. If it is due to nerve inflammation you should go for mouth stretching exercises along with muscle relaxant as prescribed by physician. You should use topical steroid over affected area and drink plenty of water.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
