What Causes Burning Sensation And Itching In The Armpits?
I went in to see my doctor because I was experiencing a burning sensation and minor itchiness in both armpits, but no rash was present. The doctor prescribed clotrimazole and betamethasone dipropionate cream. Nine days later a raised blotchy redness appeared and he then gave me fluconazole. The redness didn t start to clear up until about the 14th day. There is still some redness and now the muscle seems sore when I go to raise my arm.

I really appreciate your concern, if the symptoms of itching is still there even after having the prescribed medicines then it may not be the fungal infection and it must the allergic condition, I would suggest "Calamine lotion" Tab Levocetirizine 10 mg three times in day, emotional stress could be the reason for that hope this information helps.
