What Causes Burning Sensation And Itching On Face After Applying Hair Color?
hi there, i have tried almost all the colours on my beard but i feel burning on my face while i apply any colour, and after two or three days i feel iching on my face while my hair turn gray. i have concerned a skin doctor he has recomminded a tropical lotion containing staroid but the said medicine not helped much. please also recommend a colour which i can use on my sensitive skin.
Hi, You might be suffering from hair dye dermatitis & in this case no matter which hair dye you use, you will have similar symptoms due to inflammatory reaction in the skin. In this case, you must stop using hair dye. Every time uou use it, inflammatory reaction occurs and it damages uour skin layers. Topical steroids can give u temporary relief but daily use can have serious adverse effects. So my advice being your physician is that you stop using hair dye. If you have dry skin which usually patients with dermatitis have, use baby oil frequently and keep a good moisturizer with yourself to prevent skin dryness. Hope it will help. Regards, Dr. Maria Daud
