General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Liver and kidney failure can lead accumulation of toxic metabolites in the body and so can lead to muscle weakness. But still, as calf swelling and pain present local examination needed and if need than color Doppler can be done.

Check your calcium, sodium, potassium level, TSH etcetera. According to the examination, further management plan and investigation decided.

Mention your liver and kidney profiles result like urea, creatinine and SGPT, SGOT for further discussion. Consult the physician for examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
