What Causes Burning Sensation And Pain In The Penis?

Hello All, I m 27 years old male. I m concerned about burn and pain right after the penis glan underneath the penis. Its very sensitive to touch and urine. Possibly a urethral lesion. When I exercised it hurts and burns more. I stopped exercises to avoid pain and swelling. This problem has been going on for years. I wonder what could I possibly be suffering of. If there any urologist reading this question I would appreciate possible conditions, I fear tumor or cancer. I tested negative on STDs that could possibly those symptoms. Thank you, RP

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Pain and burning sensation in penis is not likely to be due to any type of cancer. These symptoms could be due to urine infection. I suggest you to get an urine culture and drug sensitivity. If the urine culture turns out to be positive, then you need to take antibiotic course after consulting your urologist. For checking the urethra for any injury, uretherogram may be required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
