Hi,

Burning sensation could be because of a condition called shingles however you would get rashes or blisters in the affected area. If there has been no such rash or blister (even in past) then you can rule out shingles. If your CT and ultrasound have come normal then it means you don't have any underlying organ disorder.

I would advise you to get a nerve condition study done to rule out any damage to the nerve. I would suspect it as a case of CRPS (complex regional pain syndrome) however you need to get it confirmed by visiting your treating doctor and getting few more tests done. If the condition gets confirmed then you may need to seek help from pain clinic.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
