Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern....
As per your complain you are suffering from APTHOUS
STOMATITIS which is characterized by inflammation of mucous membranes and formation of apthous ulcers in mouth..
It is commonly due to deficiency of
Vitamin B12 while it can be due to a large number of reasons although the exact cause is still unknown..
You need not to worry and can take a
multivitamin tablet for one month..
Do warm saline gargles..
For pain you can take anti-inflammatory OTC painkiller like
Ibuprofen..
Sucking ice pops and cold water rinses can relieve inflammation and pain..
Gargle with a numbing mouthwash to relieve pain during meals..
Avoid hot ,spicy and acidic food and take a soft bland diet..
In case if the condition does not resolve then the ultimate treatment is oral doses of steroids like
Prednisone 10 mg twice a day..
You can apply a steroid based ointment as you are already doing for relief fom inflammation..
Hope this information helps..
