What Causes Burning Sensation Around A Wound On The Head?
I fell last winter. my head hit a rock. i had a very small crack in the skin. i ask my doctor about it. he said there was nothing wrong. Now my head burns all of the time. i still have a tiny crack in up there where It started. Which still burn s and sting s to the touch. Could you help me? Please. Richard Carey
Hi Richard, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. For the symptoms you are describing, you can apply cream containing Fusidic acid over the affected area twice daily after cleaning the part with mild antiseptic solution like Savlon. Take antihistaminic medication containing Levocetirizine once a day. Gradually, as the wound heals, such symptoms should subside and should get better. Hope the information provided helps.
