What Causes Burning Sensation Around Clitoris Region During Pregnancy?
Hello Doc. I have this serious burning sensation around the my clitoris area. It s been really annoying. Refused to go. When I use a mirror to look at my clit, the top and the skin looks reddish and a bit whitish at the sides of the clit. When I shower and I wash up my clit region, it starts to burn. I have tried using canesten cream and funbact A, it seems to not be working. I am 18 weeks pregnant and I am really it happy with the condition of my clit. It s over 3 weeks now. What can I do? Naomi
Hi Naomi, Thanks for writing to HCM. I understand your concern. What you are experiencing is a mixed infection of clitoris area due to stagnation of secretion, which can happen during pregnancy. Kindly wash the area with warm water using mild antiseptic solution thrice daily. Dry it with clean towel. Apply cream containing Clobetasol Propionate + Neomycin Sulphate + Miconozole twice daily. Wear loose undergarments for effective ventilation. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
