What Causes Burning Sensation Around The Circumcised Scar On Penis Post Sex?

Hello, my partner has been circumcised around 5 years before I met him... We are together 4 years now. Whilistt having intercourse he feels a bit uncomfortable and after he feels a burning sensation around the scar, which leads to not be able to sleep with me again for a preiod of time ( about 3 to 5 days) is this something we can work on or it is how he will feel for the rest of his life ? Im adding that I absolutely feel bad about hirting him, sometimes it gets me into tears... Please help

Hello,

It is quite common and is due to local inflammation.

As a first line management, you can apply low potency steroid creams like betamethasone for symptomatic relief. If the lesion persists, it is better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
