What Causes Burning Sensation Around The Navel Area With Severe Abdominal Bloating?
I have had occasional burning sensation around my belly button for a few weeks. I noticed that the area around my belly button is hard and now I have extreme bloating. My bowel movements have changed--increased in frequency--around this time as well. Any ideas?

This sounds like it may be an incarcerated umbilical hernia which would mean that there could be a loop of intestine caught in the defect and that's causing your bloating. You need to see a doctor right away since this is a surgical emergency
