What Causes Burning Sensation At Back Of Tongue And Throat After Vomiting?
My name is Renee, and in the recent past I have induced vomiting because I was feeling too full. The last time I induced vomiting, the vomit came up very hot. Now for the last month I have experience a burnt like feeling in the back of my tongue and throat. It feels sore when I eat and swallow. I can t eat anything spicy, because it burns. Even talking hurts. When I have my mouth close for any period of time, the back of my mouth feels stiff. The doctor didn t see anything on Xray or culture or with them looking at my throat. What can it be? Thank you

It's the stomach acid that causes irritation of the throat and tongue. Gargles with listerine Mouthwash will help you a lot. Take Claritin by mouth twice daily.
