What Causes Burning Sensation At The Site Of Ketorolac Injection?

I had a shot of ketoRolac 30MG and it immediately caused a burning in my hip and butt. My doctor didn t seem concerned with this. That was in July 2016. As of now Jan 2017 I have seen 12 different doctors with no explainat ion of why it burned and did not help me. In fact it made my pain so extreme that I can no longer walk.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Intramuscular injection is a blind procedure.

In my opinion, the symptoms seem to be related to side effects of the injection.

The symptoms seem to be related to post-injection nerve damage.

You can use oral anti-inflammatory medication for the pain such as Ibuprofen.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
