HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
It is possible that the symptoms may be due to
peripheral neuropathy which refers to abnormal function of the nerves.
There are different possible causes, it may be temporary or permanent.
Causes include: (1) diabetes
(2)trauma
(3)liver or kidney disease
(4)
vitamin b12 or
folate deficiency
(5)nerve conditions such as
stroke or ms
(6)exposure to toxins
(7)infections such as shingles
(8)idiopathic- cause not known
(9)some
hormonal conditions
If it is severe or persistent , you can consider seeing your doctor for assessment.
This would include inspection of the area and neurological examination
Blood tests to look for any of the above may also be needed.
The treatment would depend somewhat on the cause though there are medications that are used for nerve related pain.
I hope this helps
