What Causes Burning Sensation During Urination After Intercourse?
I just had sex with my boyfriend two days ago and i used the bathroom after we did it and it was burning when i peed. I took a shower yesterday and my vagina was doing fine until like 2 hours after and then i had to pee and it started burning again.. And today it was burning after i peed and wiped amd it felt like a bump. I have no idea what to do or what it is.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Burning sensation after you pee after having sex is a sign of possible urethritis. As this is continuing, and as you are feeling like a bump when you wipe, I highly advise to consult with OG specialist and run vaginal swab testing to determine the right diagnosis. For the moment, I advise to:
- Keep good genital hygiene
- Use only hypoallergic feminine cleansers
- Take cranberry supplement or tea to optimize urine pH
- Increase fluid intake.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
