What Causes Burning Sensation During Urination And Fatigue?
I started 2 days ago with burning urine and general fatigue.i then developed scratchy throat and a day later became a sore throat .I went to my family doctor and he said viral infection and prescribed doxycycline. At the time of visit I did not have congestion in my lungs therefore he called it a virus. I developed a fever that same night of 101 and can now hear my chest rattle. The next night I didn t get feverish but very weak still.Should I be demanding a chest X-ray at this point?I have a history of pneumonia and bronchitis in past years.I am not a smoker
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice
An important symptom of pneumonia/bronchitis is cough, which you didn't mention. If you have cough you can add a mucolytic to your antibiotic treatment. I recommend you to consult with pneumologist and deppending from the lung examination he decides then about the chest X-ray.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
