What Causes Burning Sensation During Urination In Men?
Hello. I went to urgent care this morning because I have had burning urirnation and some discharge from my penis. The doctor this morning just told me to eat allot of fiber and drink water. He said that I have bowel backup that is causing the pain and discharge. I am also not sexually active and have been celibate my entire life.
Hi, Welcome To HCM & Thanks For Asking Your Query Here
your medical history is strongly suggestive of a Urinary tract infection (UTI) and it should not lead to any serious outcome if treated early UTI are common even in sexually inactive men and can be caused by poor hygiene or some other urinary tract disorders like prostatitis ,urethritis ,kidney or bladder stone and it needs thorough medical check up and investigations to spot a confirm diagnosis
However Drinking plenty of water and fresh fruit juices will help you clean your Urinary Tract but if you have other symptoms like frequent urination , urgency and incontinence then i would strongly suggest you to see a Urologist , he may go for all necessary medical investigations to rule out any underlying medical condition
I hope it help Thanks & Get well Soon
