What Causes Burning Sensation During Urination?

I have had severe diarrhea for a few days and now I have burning sensation while urinating, everything I eat or drink goes right through me. Is there anything I can take or do I need to go to the hospital. I did take a couple imodiums at first didn t help

Dear;
Burning while urinating is due to urinary tract infection which is commonly caused due to decrease fluid content in body leading to concentration of urine along wid burning.
Imodium is used for inflammatory bowel syndrome which not a diarrheal disease rather its an intestinal disease.
fortreatment u can use norfloxacin 500 mg Iin bd dose for 5 days.
Urinary antiseptic like phenazopyridium canbe used. But main thing Iis to drink alot fluid say 5-7 liters of water everyday.
For diarrhea u can have econorm sachet along wid oflox ornidazole combination for 5 days.
Visita physician if doesn't resolve in 7 days.
