What Causes Burning Sensation During Urination?
my daughter is 16 burning when pee. seen a doc today and at this time no pain just burning when she goes to the bathroom. doc said the urine looked nasty and at this time no tenderness. called in a 3 dy med for a uti. tonight she is tired more then normal and pain on the right side under her gall blatter. she has not started meds until tomorrow. does this sound like a uti or should i take her to the hospital. she is on birth control but is not active.

She needs to be on the antibiotics immediately. A urinary tract infection in the bladder can move to the kidneys and become much more serious. Please get her on the antibiotics immediately and if you feel that she is worsening take her to emergency.
