Is it possible to get a bladder infection in a hour or two ? I was urinating just fine all day and even right before bed. I went to sleep woke up two hours later with this burning sensation to urinate. It was a very small amount , it burned and there is a blood .

Hi there,
Its a good think that you are aware that burning sensation can be due to bladder infection. But there can other reasons also for the burning sensation.
As you have told there was some amount of blood along with the urine, which means that there might be a small cut in the pipe that helps us pass urine and when urine comes in contact with this cut surface, it causes burning sensation.
In my opinion, if your bleeding has stopped and its small in amount then you need not to worry about anything, you can relax.
But if the bleeding is still continuing then you should get yourself checked up in the Emergency Room.
Thank you
Hope you recover soon.
