Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Recently I ve been getting a burning sensation in my armpits. After monitoring it for a few days I ve discovered that it really burns when I get fear sweat . For example, it doesn t burn from strenuous activity, but if something like a loud noise happens or I trip and almost fall, it immediately starts burning. The burning goes away if I wash my armpits. I know activity sweat and fear sweat are slightly different. It s almost as if my fear sweat has become more acidic than usual or something like that. Have you heard of anything like this before?
