Hello, Get clinically examined by an orthopedist. Apart from burning sensation, if you also have fever, swollen and painful glands, then it be due to an infection or a different pathology. It could be due to nerve damage, nerve pain, impingement or a neuropathy. If diabetic, keep your blood sugar level under control at all cost. You may be referred to a Neurologist. Get all required tests and investigations done so that treatment can be started at the earliest.
