What Causes Burning Sensation In Feet And Hands During Pregnancy?

I am 33 weeks pregnant, I just woke up from a nap. I feel extremely hot, it feels as though my feet and hands are burning. My husband said I do not feel hot to touch though and I do not have a fever. I have a pretty bad headache and I feel extremely thirsty! I have been drinking water and took a cold shower and I do not feel any better. My head feels very cloudy and I feel pretty exauhsted. Do I need to go to the hospital? Earlier today I was having sharp pains in my vagina that lasted for a couple second then went away. This happens about 4 times and ithasn t happens sincE.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think that the sweating and heat feeling may be common in this stage of pregnancy. The pain in vagina and feeling exhausted may be also common in pregnancy.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
